Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking any service with Bonsai Racing, including JDM Tours, Track Rentals, and Custom Experiences, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

2. Booking & Payment

• All bookings must be made at least 1 month in advance for track rentals
• Full payment or deposit may be required at the time of booking
• Prices are quoted in JPY or USD as indicated on our website
• All prices are subject to change without prior notice
• Payment confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Full refunds are only possible if cancellation is made 7 days or more prior to the scheduled experience date
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the experience date are non-refundable
• No-shows or same-day cancellations will not be eligible for any refund
• Weather-related cancellations may be rescheduled subject to availability
• Bonsai Racing reserves the right to cancel or reschedule experiences due to safety concerns, mechanical issues, or force majeure events

4. Vehicle Damage & Liability

• Customers are 100% responsible for any and all damages to vehicles during tours or track racing sessions
• This includes damages caused by customer error, accidents, or mechanical failure resulting from customer use
• Damage liability applies even if other drivers on the track are at fault
• Upper damage limits: 1,000,000 JPY for the Mazda Roadster & GT86 (AT) and 2,500,000 JPY for the Toyota GR86 Cup Car
• Customers will be billed for all repair costs immediately following any incident
• Pre-existing damage will be documented before each experience
• Customers must report any damage immediately to staff

5. Safety Requirements & Eligibility

• Track rental participants must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and/or International Driving Permit may be required for certain experiences
• Participants must be in good physical and mental health
• Participants must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate safely
• Bonsai Racing reserves the right to refuse service to anyone deemed unfit or unsafe to participate
• All safety instructions must be followed at all times
• Long sleeve shirts and long trousers are mandatory for all track activities (no t-shirts or shorts)
• Participants must bring their own racing suit if available

6. Assumption of Risk & Waiver

• Motorsport activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to: injury, death, and property damage
• By participating, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with these activities
• Participants waive all claims against Bonsai Racing, its hosts, partners, and affiliates for any injury or damage
• Customers participate entirely at their own risk
• Bonsai Racing is not responsible for personal injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property

7. Insurance

• Track entrance fees and circuit insurance are NOT included in rental prices
• Customers are responsible for purchasing circuit insurance separately if available
• Personal travel and health insurance is strongly recommended
• Bonsai Racing's vehicle insurance does not cover customer-caused damage

8. Track Rentals - Specific Terms

• Each session duration is 20-40 minutes depending on the circuit
• Vehicle consumables (tires, brake pads, gasoline) are included in the rental price
• Participants must follow all circuit rules and regulations

9. JDM Tours - Specific Terms

• Tours follow pre-determined itineraries and schedules
• Pickup and dropoff locations are pre-determined unless custom arrangements are made
• Custom car choice and custom pickup/dropoff require booking a Custom Experience
• Tours may be affected by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances
• Bonsai Racing is not responsible for delays or changes to the itinerary

10. Custom Experiences - Specific Terms

• Custom quotes are based on specific activities and itineraries
• Final pricing is subject to the complexity and duration of the requested experience
• Changes to custom itineraries may incur additional charges

11. Conduct & Behavior

• Participants must behave respectfully towards staff, other participants, and property
• Alcohol and drug use is strictly prohibited before and during all activities
• Reckless or dangerous behavior will result in immediate termination without refund
• Participants must comply with all Japanese laws and regulations
• Photography and video recording may occur; participants consent to their likeness being used for promotional purposes

12. Intellectual Property

• All product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners
• Use of any motorsport venue names does not imply affiliation or endorsement
• Bonsai Racing branding and materials are protected by copyright

13. Limitation of Liability

• Bonsai Racing's liability is limited to the total amount paid for the service
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for third-party services, venues, or equipment
• All activities are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

14. Force Majeure

Bonsai Racing is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, or acts of God.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tokyo, Japan.

16. Changes to Terms

Bonsai Racing reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
